Here are some pics from Walt's new place. Yesterday we got into town and Walt went down to the office to fill out some paperwork. Then we hit the secondhand stores - got some dishes and glasses. Then we headed out to Ikea and filled up the car.

When Walt was in the office, his boss offered him some free furniture - a futon and a table. And it just so happened that his house was on our way back from Ikea, so we stopped by and took a look at what he had. We somehow managed to cram the futon mattress in the car - that gave Jim and I something to sleep on. (Yay!) Then this morning, Jim and Walt went back for the futon frame and table.
Today we've been out all day running around, looking for a bed. Finally decided to just get a mattress at Ikea and then Walt can keep an eye out for a bed frame on Craigslist. We also picked up this cool rug, as you can see - cool colors, eh!?

We found a grocery store and were able to make dinner tonight in his apartment. His apartment has never been lived in, so all the appliances are brand new. Oh darn - I just realized that I didn't get the kitchen picture on this post - I'll add it later. Anyhow, it is a very nice kitchen - euro style. He also has a washer and dryer, so he doesn't have to go out to do laundry.
