The old place is shaping up pretty nice for the summer.  Jim mowed the lawn, cut wood for the outdoor fireplace and we straightened up everything inside.  C'mon up and relax!  On our drive up, we saw a couple of sandhill cranes - one was on the shoulder of the road on US-2 - I almost hit him!!!  Silly bird!  They sure are big!  On our way home, we had to slow down for a porcupine crossing the road and then a couple miles later, a fox or a small coyote crossed the road.  Luckily, Marais didn't find any critters!  (She found a skunk last summer!)  She had a fun weekend - lots of exploring and sniffing!
