Solja was here visiting from Finland! It was so great to see her!!! We last saw her in 2006 when we visited Finland. On Tuesday night we went out on the boat. It seems so funny that she was here for almost a year and we never went out on the boat (of course we didn't meet her until Dec or Jan of the year she was here). It was cool and mostly overcast but even still we went out on Lake Michigan and she took the wheel. She was a natural captain - went a little slower against the waves so we weren't pounding on them and then gunned it when going with the waves. It was so great to spend time with her once again - she is such a sweetheart! It also made me yearn for another trip to Finland - we sure enjoyed our time with her parents and sisters too!
