Matt wanted a haircut to start out the school year.  It is incredible how long it was, but his curls are so tight that you don't see the length.  Anyhow, we forgot to bring the clippers up to Houghton, so we got a new pair and as a bonus, we even got a haircutting cape!  We buzzed it and now he should be good for a bit - no more bed head to worry about when you roll out of bed 2 minutes before your first morning class!

We had a whirlwind weekend, driving up to Houghton on Friday morning and coming home on Sunday.  We dropped off the 'burban in Detour Village for our ride home after Dalmac.  (Hope it is still there when we get there!)  So, it was an especially long day on Sunday, driving from Houghton to the far east end of the U.P. to Detour Village, then back west to St. Ignace and home.  We head to Lansing right after work tomorrow, pick up our registration packet and then start the ride bright and early Wednesday morning.  We'll miss you tids on the ride this year!  Love ya tons!
