Its been awfully quiet on the blogger pages, so I thought I ought to contribute. "Be the change you want to see..." (Ghandi)

So, here is a nice picture of Mango Tango, taken on Dalmac 2007. We'll be packing for Dalmac 2008 3 short weeks from now. Yikes! That isn't too far off! We need to do some more training and we're still trying to recuperate from the weekend! On Friday night we went to see our favorite band, Lazy Blue Tunas. We had dinner with friends and then danced a bit. Then we went to a friend's wedding on Saturday night and danced a bit more - actually a lot more! I don't know if it was the polka or the twist or the alligator that did Jim in. Then we went out on the boat on Sunday and I don't know if it was the playing frisbee at the beach or the bouncing on waves that did in my ankle (or an accumulation of abuse from the weekend). So, both of us are limping or walking darn slow! That translates to slow bike riding and less bike training this week. We're riding to work, but nothing extra for us!

Anyway, we're looking forward to Dalmac in a few short weeks. It is always so fun, so relaxing. It is a very simple 5 days - all we have to do each day is ride our bike. We're still trying to figure out how to get a car up there for our ride home, but we'll work that out. One of these days, we're not going to ride home - we're going to turn left at the bridge and just keep riding! For now, we still have a mortgage and bills and responsibilities, so we drive home and ration our vacation days so that we have these few days for bicycling at the end of the summer and save the rest of the vacation days for visiting family. Looking forward to those days that Sal and Bill are enjoying!
